Jason has lived in Memphis since the mid ’90s and is a graduate of Rhodes College, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Highland Theological College and the University of Aberdeen. Jason spent four years teaching in urban Memphis and 2.5 years as Senior Researcher for Chattanooga-based Generous Giving, Inc. From time-to-time he writes nerdy articles in journals like Journal of Biblical Literature and Westminster Theological Journal. He’s currently a deacon and long-time member at 2pc and teaches with Mitchell in the Fellows program. He also works as scholar-in-residence and director of Christ College Residency Program (http://www.cumcmemphis.org/residency) at Christ UMC down the street from 2pc. Jason and his Memphian wife, Emily, have three kids and reside with Emily’s parents, as Emily is engaged in the long-term care of her disabled mother.
